I can undertake projects and collaborations with individuals, community organisations, government departments, and private businesses.
Projects and collaborations provides me with an interesting array of work including: writing organisational policies and procedures; developing factsheets; undertaking audits; and writing Social Work reports (support letters for Centrelink and NDIS, and writing reports to support people in their visa applications to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection).
I also have the privilege of undertaking sessional work in the university sector. The university work includes:
- marking, tutoring, writing content for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Masters of Social Work (Qualifiying) (MSW) degrees with James Cook University;
- providing Field Education Liaison support and External Supervision for BSW and MSW students undertaking their first or second 500 hour practicums; and
- engaging in mixed-methods research (undertaking semi-structured interviews and focus groups, and qualitative data analysis).
